Please be informed that today, on 13 November 2024, a new version of iMDAS has been installed.

In this version of iMDAS, the following functions of the system have been made more precise:

  •  in accordance with Article 248(2) of Regulation (EU) 2015/2446, export/re-export declarations, made on or after 13/11/2024, will automatically be invalidated after a period of 150 days, if no confirmation has been received that the goods have left the customs territory of the Union (in the case of not ended procedures);
  •  if a person independently declares the goods that he has received through the iMDAS portal, and fails to pay the amount of the assessed taxes within 7 calendar days after the acceptance of the customs declaration, the goods declared in the import declaration will not be released (status “Not released”). The import declaration for the release of the goods must be resubmitted, and the assessed taxes must be paid within 7 calendar days;
  •  the process of the clearance of import and export declarations, wherein AGRIM and AGREX licenses are indicated, will be suspended until the inspection results are received from the IEAIS system managed by the Agency of Agriculture;
  •  Notification IE507 “Arrival at the customs office of exit” (with the storage mark value “NO”, i.e. without the storage flag) may be submitted to the customs offices of exit of the Republic of Lithuania, which have been granted the special competence of the customs office “9BS” referred to in the Customs Offices List, approved by Order No 1B-351 of 25 June 2009 of the Director-General of the Customs Department under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania. In this case, the notification IEMX47 “Manifest” does not have to be submitted.
  •   following the Description of the procedure for submitting, accepting and exchanging electronic exit summary declaration and re-export notification and other electronic information related to the processing of the exit summary declaration and re-export notification, approved by Order No 1BE-911 of 15 December 2023 of the Director-General of the Customs Department under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, a re-export notification (REN) is to be submitted only electronically to the customs offices of exit of the Republic of Lithuania, which have been granted the special competence of the customs office “9BS” referred to in the Customs Offices List.
