Completing a Traveller’s Declaration

Traveller means any natural person who:

- enters into the customs territory of the Union temporarily and is not normally resident there, or

- returns to the customs territory of the Union where he is normally resident, after having been temporarily outside this territory, or

- temporarily leaves the customs territory of the Union where he is normally resident, or

- leaves the customs territory of the Union after a temporary stay, without being normally resident there

Traveller’s Declaration is a customs declaration done in the form established by the Customs Department, giving information about traveller’s personal details and carried goods.

Traveller’s Declaration shall be completed either in Lithuanian, English or Russian using the traveller’s declaration form printed out in one of the languages (see: LithuanianEnglish or Russian). Traveller’s declaration forms are available at the customs office or on the Traveller's portal.

Traveller’s Declaration shall be completed in accordance with the requirements laid down by the Director General of the Customs Department (see: LithuanianEnglish or Russian); the requirements are indicated on the back side of the Traveller’s Declaration. 

Completed and signed Traveller’s declaration form should be submitted to a customs officer performing customs control.
