Service description | Pursuant to the Law on Public Administration of the Republic of Lithuania, mandatory actions performed by the Customs Department under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania and its subordinate Customs offices (hereinafter jointly referred to as “Customs offices”) in considering a person's complaint (hereinafter referred to as “complaint”) concerning possible infringement of the rights and legitimate interests of the person indicated in the complaint by the actions, omission of action or administrative decisions of the Customs office, and in making as a result a decision on the administrative procedure. The consideration of complaints includes the acceptance of a person's complaint, confirmation of the fact of the acceptance of the complaint, performance of the administrative procedure and decision-making, delivery (dispatch) of the decision to the person. Persons` complaints may be submitted in writing, upon direct arrival at the Customs office, sending by post or by electronic means. The complaint sent by electronic means must be signed by a qualified electronic signature or formed by electronic means, which allows ensuring the integrity and irreplaceability of the text. |
