Key outcomes of the discussions included:

Strategic Cooperation: Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening collaboration in customs enforcement, trade facilitation, and the prevention of illicit trade.

Implementation of Sanctions:Both parties shared their experience on implementation of Sanctions, challenges of circumvention and the importance of cooperation and coordination.

Operational Excellence: The Acting Director General reviewed the operational practices of the UK Border Force at Heathrow Airport, with particular attention to freight and passenger control, risk management, data analytics, and the deployment of advanced customs screening technologies.

Trade Facilitation and Innovation: Both parties emphasized the importance of digital solutions and simplified customs procedures to support legitimate trade flows between Lithuania and the United Kingdom.
