Electronic declaration of the amount of fuel in the fuel tanks of a cargo vehicle will be mandatory from 8:00 AM 12 March 2025.
The import of fuel into the European Union from the Republic of Belarus (via Medininkai and Šalčininkai BCP) and the Russian Federation (via Kybartai BCP) is restricted. Therefore, the illegal defuelling of this fuel from the vehicle may incur administrative liability under the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Lithuania with the confiscation of the vehicle.
